The route

There has been some inquiries about the route that the guys are taking.  CJ carries a spot GPS tracker, and CJ has been hitting check-ins at most of their stops.  You can track their progress at CJ’s website, www.cjdesignsllc.com, in the upper left hand corner.  Otherwise, click here to check out their progress so far.  I will periodically post Spot updates, but your best bet is to check CJ’s web page for the most up-to-date locations.

As far as I am aware, the guys are hitting the pavement pretty hard to get to Alaska, and then will be taking their time and get off the pavement to go north to Prudhoe Bay and down the continental divide, with mostly unpaved sections.  I hope they can get to Inuvik, as well.  It looks as if they have hit some good U.S. hotspots – the badlands, Wall Drug (one of my personal favorites), Rapid City (Mount Rushmore?) and are headed towards Yellowstone national park.

They hit some rainy, cold, crappy weather yesterday, but the satellite looks good for their journey today.  I was half asleep, but I think that they enountered some snow, at least snow banks.  Hopefully they made a snowman and had a snowball fight.  I know Ardie was looking forward to seeing some snow.
