Bucky 3 Dual Sport Ride – Cross Plains, Wisconsin

Sat Oct 22, 2011  (My Birthday RIDE!)
Matthew and I head to Cross Plains Wisconsin, about 20 miles west of Madison, for the Bucky 3 with 2 950 Adventures loaded up on the back my pickup.  It was 5AM and 38F with a 2 hr drive ahead of us.
This event is put on by the Madison Motorcycle Club.  http://madisonmotorcycleclub.org/
They put on a lot of great events around our area and help out many needy causes.  If you are in the area, check them out to see what fun they have in store.
The weather looked to be great.   Forcasting sunny and 60F.  You can’t pass up these days this time of year to be on a bike.   We  had a wonderful time on the trail w/ our big pigs… AKA KTM 950 ADV.
I guess I had too much run riding.    These are the only 3 pics I got of the day.  Oops.  Maybe Matthew will add a few more.  ;)Weather was awesome and sure made for a fun day on a big bike.
Hero sections were a blast.

Matthew pointing out the Rock that threw him off track. Doesn’t look to bad at this angle….

It was steep.

No help at the time, just the 2 of us, so we pulled out the WARN winch and it made easy work to pull him up.

We may be slow, but we can get through most obstacles with the right attitude.

Thanks for the help from the sweep crew that found us and helped out too.

We did most of the HERO sections, learned a lot and gained some new skills.    What a great day!!  Thanks for joining in Matthew.
See you at the next event.
